Patch Hat FAQ's

Patch hats give you some advantages over embroidered hats. Our laser engraving and printing can capture really fine details, like small text and intricate images, that embroidery just can't do. Laser engraving also adds a cool 3D effect. Plus, our UV color printing lets us create vibrant colors and smooth color blends that aren't possible with embroidery

You'll usually get your hats pretty quickly! If we have all the materials on hand, we typically ship them out within 2 to 4 business days after you place your order. If we are special ordering your model of hat, your order will leave our shop in 3-7 business days. Shipping times range from 1-7 days.

Choosing the right patch is really up to you! All our patches are super durable. Leatherette and leather patches are nice and flexible, so they move with the hat. Acrylic patches are more rigid and hold their shape.

Hat prices vary depending on things like quantity, the hat style, materials and labor used to create the patch. To give you a general idea, we've put together a sample price table below. When you submit a hat quote request we will provide an exact cost.

Good news! We don't charge any setup fees for hat orders. And most of the time, we won't need to charge for design work either. If your artwork needs some tweaking to get it ready for printing or engraving, there might be a small design fee, but that's not usually the case.

Pick a hat that fits your brand or how you'll be using it. If you need hats for sports or outdoor work, a performance hat is a great choice for its moisture wicking, sun protection and athletic look.

For the best results, we prefer vector files like EPS, PDF, AI, or SVG. But don't worry, we can also work with high-resolution images like PNG, JPEG, PSD, or TIF. Not sure wha any of this means?
